If a student qualifies for pell-grant through FAFSA, and is an AZ resident with a 2.5 core GPA or higher this program will cover tuition & fees at UA, ASU or NAU!
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the document that all students must complete annually in order to qualify for federal and state financial aid, including grants, work-study, and student loans. Additionally, the information from the FAFSA may be required for some scholarship applications.
You can estimate your EFC using the FAFSA4caster on the FAFSA website. You can also estimate your financial aid at each of the Arizona universities using the tools on their websites.
Scholarships and Waivers are awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, or talents in areas such as sports, music, community service etc. Some of these scholarships also consider financial needs and may ask for information from your FAFSA. Each scholarship typically has its own application and requirements, so be sure to read guidelines carefully and pay attention to deadlines.
