Within the state of Arizona, there are many options for pursuing higher education.
Pima Community College and Maricopa Community College are the two largest community college systems in Arizona. Arizona community colleges have partnered with public universities in order to ease the transfer process. AZ Transfer is the result of that collaboration that community college academic advisors will often use to help students take the courses necessary if students are wishing to pursue a 4-year degree option.

The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) is the governing body for Arizona’s three public universities: The University of Arizona (UA), Arizona State University (ASU) and Northern Arizona University (NAU).
